[ Main Usage]
- For Packaging
Polylactic acid is widely used in fresh food films, snack and confectionary packaging, bread bags, etc., due to its high stiffness, gloss, and transparency, good grease and oil resistance, and high aroma barriers.
- For Disposable Consumer Goods Domain
Due to its biodegradability, compliance with food contact standards, and high stiffness, PLA can be directly processed on existing plastic production lines without equipment replacement or major modification. Polylactic acid is highly suitable for application in the field of disposable products.
- For fiber and nonwoven field
Polylactic acid fibers and nonwovens have antibacterial and odor-resistant properties, making them suitable for the production of clothing, underwear, and other textiles.
- 3D Printing Field
Polylactic acid is one of the most commonly used 3D printing materials due to its ease of processing, relatively low cost, and the good mechanical properties and surface finish of the printed products.
